Don't have any guilt about the IWC , it'll last you the rest of your life . If I had one , it'd be my luck to run into the only thug in NYC with some taste.
Retirement's great , highly recommended , when the time comes to get out , you'll know . But I still need a watch !! gotta know what time it is so I can get to the diner on time for my monthly breakfast with the other old guys.:)

Ta muchly. Diners maybe a good theme for a thread. Call it 2 eggs any style. Theme would be eateries. Take pictures of our favourite diners/breakfast haunts/greasy spoons???

Opportunity for some grungy B&W pictures yes no? I would save it for when I get to choose the theme of weekly contest but that aint happening anytime soon.

Is that a goat and a chandelier? how the hell did you get those two to align?

interesting picture BTW.

I was in the cul-de-sac out front of our house, channeling the spirit of the Bad Guy (for inspirational purposes, of course) and this goat ran towards me, whilst a chandelier dropped from the heavens, this was the image I captured as it knocked me over and headed off into the great beyond of suburbia! :p

Video or it never happened!

Thanks! I took about 200 photographs and was happy with about 5. That butterfly was HUGE!

Well done for perseverance. No sooner had I packed all my gear away tonight, and I noticed this moth sitting on our back door window. No matter how many times I opened and closed the door he stayed still. Now if I'd had my camera in hand, he'd have flown as soon as I got within 20 feet!

Kept looking out the window trying to find that big light in London, but couldn't see a thing.

Today I discovered I was looking in the wrong direction, finally saw it, and had a go at taking a pic just resting it on my windowsill so there's a bit of camera shake.

I'm in Tooting, been trying to figure that one out too!

Was at the war memorial in London yesterday, with all the ceramic poppies pouring out of the Tower. What an amazing sight! Anyway, snapped this one in the midst of it all.

Taken as I was flung over the goat and I had a Matrix moment, where time slowed down and I was able to achieve focus... ;)

this pic is far out, I prefer it to the other one, it's stranger and the shape is nicely concluded at the top of the matrixed frame

shading/lighting is more appealing (to me) too

by the way, I thought that all stuff during a bullet time moment, except yourself, would be bound to the same laws of physics? how did you achieve focus without breaking the lens & camera with your extreme body speed?

This is my fave of these ones too, for the same reasons and the texture of the antlers.

Centrifugal force! The key is to rotate your body around the lens and land on your feet. All those years of gymnastics as a youth paid off!
