Err.... I need Ish to tell us...
I dont actually know. I will ask someone...
Thank you, thought at the time i liked the way the light was illuminating them. Simple things eh?I think they are Allium, a kind of ornamental onion or garlic but don't bet your house on it.
A different perspective - nice!
Another one for the cover of birding monthly! Very nice.

Back indoors I see. Nicely done MacRy.
You know I'm going to ask what those lovely flowers are, don't you?
Cheers

Pretty sure it's an agapanthus ... They're sold near me as 'blue lily of the Nile' . Not hardy in New Jersey.Gotta dig them up in fall or keep them it pots . I did the latter and had them going for a number of years .
Thanks. Getting there early pays off.Great POV & perspective from down there!
And thanks again.Have to agree with you @Apple fanboy there's a nice mystique to it! Well done!
Any chance of getting back to this one Hugh? If you could go panoramic && avoid the white in the foreground & side you'd have a killer image. I think it's all about subtly using the IR to your advantage. Not that I'm any sort of expert!
Thanks - I can go back any time as Leeds Castle operates an annual passport ticket scheme, and it's only half an hour away.
I'll have another go next month
Cheers
Hugh
PS I've crudely chopped the original - is this what you meant? (Apologies for this being a 2nd POTD) View attachment 573401
