Tried getting a clean shot of one of these white ones the other day but it was too warm and they barely sat down for a second. When they did they were too far away.
You do know you need to get off the bridge and out of the car? I don't think I've ever seen you get out of that thing for the whole time I've been here!View attachment 946048

Car was at home. This was about a mile from home on one of my regular walks with Mrs AFB. We do a lot of walks together since we moved. You do know you need to get off the bridge and out of the car? I don't think I've ever seen you get out of that thing for the whole time I've been here!![]()
Aah, that is fantastic to hear! I'm so happy for you both that the move is working well for you and there's nothing better than time together in nature (in my eyes, well, having said that, I can think of some things, probably best not going there on this forum...)Car was at home. Who's exposing themselves for six minutes? I hope it wasn't in front of Fenna!Aah, that is fantastic to hear! What's the secret? I'm banned from taking cameras with me on our walks together. Could it have had anything to do with my saying I just wanted to catch a quick six minute long exposure on the way? I wonder... 🤔
Love the comp on this oneIt's been a buggy month for Darmok. Mosquitos are abundant, but I'm not going to photograph them.

Well done...... Patience and persistence rewarded.
Thank you! I did crop it from landscape to portrait, as I rarely try to rotate my camera. Putting them 20MP to work![automerge]1597960603[/automerge]

Hummingbirds have a pretty good built-in-clock, so if you figure out the times they come to your feeder then you basically know what time they will be at your feeder the next day and so forth. That's what I figure out watching their habits. They will a lot of times go off in one direction and comeback for the return flight home (that's what I call it) in about 15-30 minutes. Though not always as they are curious birds that like to checkout new places. Nice shot!
Katydids are fantastic. Thankfully they are very slow movers
