Debating a swim?Oops, just realized that I actually never hit the "Post Reply" button earlier today. Better late than never, eh? When taking a break from dining on sunflower seeds, my buddy Smaug likes to gaze out at the lake:

Debating a swim?
I think I ate too much! I'm gonna hurl! Maybe that's it!I am curious about this, too...! It's interesting, though, as he pauses from his intensive dining experience and then positions himself where he can look out at the lake (and also the boardwalk below).....I do wonder what is going on in his squirrely brain! I don't think squirrels can swim, but I really don't know. Maybe it's just the peaceful view that he enjoys, and it helps him relax as he is digesting his big meal of sunflower seeds and birdseed.....?!
Maybe he’s a frustrated sailor or something!AAAAGGGHH!!!!! I hope that he doesn't hurl all over my deck!!!! AIEEEE, that would NOT be nice!!! I have had the problem of...um...cleaning up "souvenirs" left by the birdies, and that's already bad enough, something I had not properly anticipated prior to embarking on this whole feeding-the-birdies deal.....
Smaug wants and needs to hurl, he can bloody well find somewhere else to do it away from my deck, thank you very much!!!!.

Nice. Personally I take my camera to a shop to get it cleaned.I purchased the new Sigma 100-400 for Sony e-mount mainly for portraits after seeing some really nice compressed portraits on IG. It came in the mail today, and went walking in the fields in my neighborhood to take some test shots after work. I have no clue what to shoot without a client in front of me... LOL... This was like the 3rd shot I took with this lens. Not sure what you guys do when shooting insects, but I just stopped in my tracks and started shooting. I'm used to telling my clients to move, or I move to frame the shot. I didn't want the dragon fly to fly away... haha

Hand held at... f6.3 @ 400mm, 1/2500, ISO 500
Cropped pic mainly to hide ugly dead plant it landed on. Rather see one single dead stick than the dead leaves below it.
This lens really shows all the dust on my sensor (fixed in post). Any tips on cleaning a sensor on a Sony A7rIII???
