Another B&W. Comments always appreciated.

Thanks Kenoh. In effect, a red filter used in post. The B&W conversion involved darkening the blue channel n- made what was otherwise a featureless bright-blue sky a bit more interesting and helped keep the overall tone of the picture on the dark side. Balanced a bit by the dark foreground with the "interesting" bit highlighted in the middle (you didn't know I could talk artsy did you...)Really like it and like the low angle and the smooth water. The tones are beautiful and stark. But... Have you done something to the sky though? It looks a bit dark compared to the rest. Was it taken at night or has the B&W made blue go really dark? Maybe a red filter used?

The darker treatment to this photo with the central area being lighter gives this a mysterious, moody look. I like ti!Another B&W. Comments always appreciated.

Image not showing, mateI've been a bit quiet on here of late as I've been working 13 hour days. Being as its Sunday today, I only worked 6 hours.
Anyway here's an iPhone picture from a genuine German market in Karlsruhe.
Tell me about it! Normally I share photos from Flickr by grabbing the code and just pasting it on my Mac.Image not showing, mate
Cheers

From my iPhone Flickr app I have tried pasting it and inserting a picture. Neither work!
Tried that first, but I think it timed out due to poor hotel wifi.If the photo is on your iPhone you should be able to log into MF from your browser and attach it to a post
Cheers

Pain in the hoop isnt it! Know what you mean about the 13 hour days. It is crazy season here too. My work is seriously cutting in to my photography time!
