Looks like you caught the ginkgos at just the right time!
Yes, and you caught a good break on the timing, as ginkgos turn a brilliant yellow almost overnight, but they are also really quick to drop all their leaves in one cold night. You managed to catch them with some leaves on the ground and some in the trees. A day or two in either direction and you might have had no fall color, or no leaves at all.
Shot this on the way in to work while waiting to jump on the 290, the light turned green to fast, no time for composition 😬😂
