However, personally I am always taken aback by people asking for a full res image from a photographer. it's a little presumptuous, IMO.

Agreed. I am retired and happily share images, but if someone wants an image at a resolution they can print, use as a desktop on one of the new high res monitors, or incorporate into a webpage, they can and should pay me for the privilege. I will donate the proceeds to the local library or food bank.
As you say Clix will do as she thinks best.

I definitely am always startled when someone asks for a full-resolution image....... Thanks for the compliment, but this is more than presumptuous in my opinion, and, well, there's a reason that most of us post images in lower resolutions on public sites such as this one. Glad that people are enjoying the image as it is shared on here, but that is as far as it goes.....
