Ohh!! So not really a Lensbaby at all ? I like the effect ?
Yes, a genuine Lensbaby, but one of the older models on which you attach your own Nikon lens.
Sort of a variation, then, on one of the Nikon Perspective Control (PC) Tilt-and-Shift lenses? Interesting idea!
Nothing nearly as technical or expensive; just tilt, no shift.

Cheers :)

I had a Nikon PC lens for a while but found that I really didn't use it all that much, especially since I don't do a lot of landscape or architecture photography, which is where something like that really shines. I did enjoy the memories of using a large-format field camera with its bellows and had an appreciation of what Nikon was trying to do with its PC lens. That Lensbaby tilt attachment sounds interesting -- I assume there is some additional component to it, like in the early days of Lensbaby, with all the little disc thingies that attached to the device? (I had one and didn't really get the hang of it -- just found it too fiddly with all the little pieces. I've forgotten now what the thing was called.)

The Lensbaby that photo was taken with was just a tilt adapter, with no lens, so you add your own.
What I have now is a Lensbaby Composer - yes, the one with integral lens (50mm), but discs to adjust the aperture. I leave the f/2.8 disc in all the time as it suits me best and saves fiddling around.

Cheers :)

Thanks, Hugh! I've looked at their site from time to time but am more than happy with my current macro lenses!
I don’t really see you as a Lensbaby shooter (meant kindly) but Lensbaby is for a lot more than macro ? But it’s definitely not for everyone and that’s okay. We all have different goals. ?

Agreed, Molly! :) As I said in another post I did try one some years ago back in Lensbaby's early days and somehow I just never quite "clicked" with it. Just not my thing, apparently! I know that now they have expanded their line significantly, including providing actual lenses as opposed to the original device with all the various size aperture discs. I imagine this makes using one a lot more appealing and enjoyable to more people, and offers additional opportunities for creating unique images.
