These are just gorgeous! Love the soft focus, and the colour, wow! I'm hoping to get that lens in the next few months. Just in time for the spring flowers maybe!

As people will have noticed I do like to experiment, and often do with my current lenses (today's image is a good example of that!).... I'm sure that for a lot of photographers shooting with Lensbaby lenses and devices is fun and can inspire creativity, but based on the early experience of years ago I have the feeling that for me the results would turn out to be frustrating and disappointing. I've still got a couple more Sony lenses on my list when it comes to expanding my photographic horizons and I'd rather put the time and money into them....

I stopped to capture the sunrise. The cloud formation Was changing rapidly, so not my best work, but stunning to see in person versus what the photo couldn’t capture.
Thank you Molly! I don't think it's going to come any better than that. I put it on my wish list a few months ago, and don't want to know what's still on and what isn't but I don't want two! I'll have to make a discrete enquiry lol! Thanks again, I'll let you know what happens

Since the topic of the moment seems to be tilt-shift, here's one from Chicago a while back taken with 28mm TS lens. Placed focal plane along the track using maximum tilt.

A boulder bit of fun, taken earlier this year.
I remember walking the mall and other areas of my birth place, in awe of all of the things I found, and then I found this. It blew my mind. So unexpected, and awesome. This and the solar system patio area. What a fantastic find. It made my day. I was getting tired of walking around DC, and after finding this, kept walking for another 3 or 4 hours, amazed at the things I found.

He said he didn't buy it because it's on backorder and he didn't know if it would come in time for Christmas. I went to the Lensbaby website and it was £230.20. Put the Velvet56 in my basket and it went off to calculate shipping: something around £135 for shipping and taxes. Ooof!!? I hadn't realised it was coming from the USA. Dithered about it for a while then closed my eyes and pressed the button. It's done now and one of those beautiful lenses will soon be mine. Thanks for letting me know! I'm happy to have made the choice
