I live about 15 minutes from the stadium and have been to many games there over the years with my son.

Hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday. Today is another scan from my early Navy days. This is on the flight deck of the USS Nimitz, a nuclear powered aircraft carrier. You can see the tower on the left where the bridge is. That is also where the flight deck video camera is located that the Photographers Mates used for capturing and documenting all flight ops. You can see three aircraft in this photo. The one on the left is the S-3A Viking which is an antisubmarine warfare aircraft. The big plane in the middle is the E-2C Hawkeye which is an early warning all-weather defensive aircraft. The helicopter is the SH-3H Sea King which is the aircraft I would go up in to take aerial shots. I got to make two Mediterranean cruises and tour several European and north African countries on this ship(Italy, Spain, England, Germany, Israel, Egypt, and Tunisia). Also have been to Fort Lauderdale FL, Guantanamo Bay in Cuba, the Indian Ocean, and Saint Thomas in the Virgin Islands on the Nimitz. I had a lot of great experiences while on the Nimitz, and a few scary one's too, but I wouldn't give any of those experiences up for anything in the world. I got to see and do things I probably never would have otherwise, and they all helped make me who I am today.

I’m betting my right arm (not really😁) that an iPhone today takes better video.
And it fits in your pocket.

You are welcome! You can safely bet your right arm on that account.😁 iPhone beats the huge video camera hands down. It also only took B+W video. It did what we needed it to though. And yes, much has changed in 40 years, even though it seems like just the blink of an eye.

View from the Marble Mts California looking south eastward with various fault block Mts. Lower Cambrian (520 plus million years old) rocks in the lower foreground we were collecting trilobites with beds dipping eastward along faults

So we had some lovely morning alpen-glo yesterday. Under-exposed by a stop and a third, and I may be guilty of just a wee bit of additional enhancement.
