Back to the 4x5 project. This image was taken along the North Fork of the Elk River. Located not too far from Steamboat Springs, CO, probably sometime in the fall of 1979 or 1980.
For whatever reason this image was a lot more work than expected both setting up and digitizing.

Looking east from Marble Mts California, lots of faulted and tilted Lower Cambrian (525 Million year old) rocks we were collecting trilobites in. Just loved the scenery here.
The Rose Center's Galactic Armillary - which no longer exists, nor does this view. New building going up in its place.
