DP2 Quattro. ooo tell me more... that looks like a really interesting way they have done the mountains there.
Ah, a painted door in an alley. This alley has some cool wall graphics. The opening page on my website has a multi -color giraffe imaged from one of the doors.

Oh if it wasnt for the hotspot in the top of the image, that Giraffe would be perfect. Gorgeous image. I was laughing at some of the images of people - The finisher image of the guy in heels!?!? I assume he borrowed his wifes shoes to nip to the loo or something.

Tell us more about the DP2. Foveon sensor? How is it?

The dp2 Quattro. I originally got it to do B/W. I read that B/W is handled by the top blue/luminance layer of the Foveon. A Leica Q2 monochrom is a bit pricey. And Fujifilm can no longer repair the X100t that has been glitchy (top plate/shutter release component)

I like the Quattro. Read a lot of reviews before purchase. I knew that it was going to be a challenge to use - reviews online mentioned it be would like shooting with slide film; limited dynamic range and blown hi-lights. I have used slide film before, and I like the results. The LCD is challenging to shoot with in contrasty light. I did get the kit with the hood/LCD magnifier attachment. Raw files are not recognized by Lightroom, so I use the camera DNG output. Purchased direct from Sigma, and the Quattro came with a 4-year manufacturer warranty.

The colors are rich and contrasty. The Foveon processor chews through batteries - the camera came with 2 batteries and external charger.
