.. looking forward to your spring "critter & nature" photos!! Have a fondness for frogs, but in recent years, have just never got to where they are!! Some wonderful memories of times long ago though, when studying, working, and travelling. Have quite a collecion of crafted 'critters', and especially frogs ... here's a photo of one who occupies most of the space on our coffee table!!

Dolomite Pass area, Banff National Park, AB. September, 1975. I've been struggling to get just what I want out of the color version so I've included the B&W version as well.

Schneider Xenar 127mm press lens, Vericolor II type-S process damaged 4x5 film.

I love it that you have included both b/w and the colour version! Makes it so much easier to compare, instead of waiting an entire day. ❤️

I've posted images of this bunker building before. I don't know why I always want to stop and photograph it. It's a leftover kind of creepy building from the days when Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge was ... the Rocky Mountain Arsenal. It's role was to build, then eventually dismantle, chemical weapons. It was also used later for petroleum and agricultural chemical production, amongst other things. Then it was a Superfund site and now the NWR. Another nearby NWR and also former Superfund site is Rocky Flats, where I believe they manufactured nuclear triggers or some such.

Late to the party on replying - a lot of what they did is still classified, but it was confirmed that plutonium pits were manufactured there (in between causing massive ecological disasters).
