@bimmerchop
You took a picture of something other than your bimmer?
I like this shot. I usually don't like overexposed shots but I think it really works in this case. It has a really cool effect.
btw, I love your car.
Congratulations! The cover looks great the sunset photo is the perfect choice. Personally I think I might wait for your second book - Counting sheep.snip...

Real sky. What was photoshopped in was the tree shrub in the bottom right corner of the picture. Part of the church and it's roof was what used to be there, but I didn't like how it took focus away from the statueErm... is this the real sky, or one that's been 'shopped in? Just curious...
haha thanks what I meant was this particular location has been photographed a number of times.That's really, really interesting. I wouldn't be disappointed if I were you.
And I think you would have had to think of this shot more than 50 years ago to be the first to catch car trails.
I liked it! and no, i didn't go back to see "what escalator shot?" -- I actually know which one you're talking about It's just that a lot of times I'm rushed with my replies (I am now too actually, but I figured "I'll do it right for once."I love shots like this.
Really need to see motion through lights.
I'm sad that no one liked my escalator shot. Guess I should have loaded a higher resolution version.
Thanks juanster! Maybe you're not quite seeing what I am because I've been in Thailand for the last monthhye pkennethv sick picture man you always amaze me, we are from the same part/city and somehow i never see the same thigns you see to photograph, it really is great...
downtown st louis missouri
that's really a pretty shot. at the same time, something about it suggests "The Archer Daniels Midland Company"!
that's a beautiful, evocative shot. where in tx did you take this one (assuming you're still in tx)?
Buttermere, today...

My pic of the day is the cover of a book than will be out next spring, with 150 pix of Lake Windermere and surroundings. I've posted most of the 150 pix here already, as I took them... which has helped to give me the extra motivation to go out with my camera on days when it might have been easier not to bother.
The designer tried two different shots for the front cover. Didn't work. Then I picked this simple sunset shot, and bingo! It's not every pic that can take being cropped to square, and having text plastered all over it. Time for a small celebration. Where's the corkscrew...
