A lovely summers day. I hope your little van is waterproof if you've had weather anything like us today.

I wish I knew.

I was half convinced to remove it from its purposeless existence there, then again, my desk would also need pimpin to accommodate it

With minimal searching, these are what I've found so far:

I think it's safe to say that future ownership of a similar keyboard is looking bright. :)

Not as sharp as I'd have liked. I had to crop a bit, and the shot was off to the left to far really. But these shots are really hard to capture, especially for an air show novice like me.

Forget the perfect sharpness, you've captured that moment in an aerial display where the crowd takes a synchronised sharp in-take of breath for that 'will they / won't they collide' moment. Good job.

Did you add the vignette in post, or was this the lens? If it was in post, my only suggestion would be to move it over to draw the eye to the planes themselves rather than the centre. It's no biggie though, I think it's a great picture :)

Thanks Alex. Capturing these moments is more about luck than skill (at least on my part). I added the vignette myself. The sky was very dull, with not a lot of interest.

Might go in one day when it's open

Well I'm going to extend my guess to saying that it was last Wednesday? I have recently become an incubatee at the building next to the O2 so I often see all the punters going to and leaving the shows!

Close! it was Tuesday

I'm sure everyone recognizes this place...

Shot before Magic Kingdom opened for the day, hence no people.

Yep :) Looks like it used to be called Albion.

Can you guess where this one is? Probably not, not really an icon or anything. (Also I changed the link of that iStore place if you want to fix the quote)

Taken with a Pentax Auto 110

(It's ok that I post film here right? Pretty sure I saw some film earlier)

That'll be the Golden Mile section of The Great West Road. This'll sound like a very geeky thing to do, but I like looking for film locations on Google Earth. This one was easy - I Googled 'Barratt deco building' as that was the most definitive part of the pic, and a resulting Wiki entry took me straight there.

Hi folks...

I've been 'on the road' for about three weeks, but so busy that I've only just managed to sort out computer/wifi issues. Phew...

This is my home/office-on-wheels parked up in Wasdale...

So nice to see that you finally went 'on tour'! I look forward to seeing the loot that comes out of it. :)

Terrific atmosphere. It's interesting to see someone using colored filters with a DSLR; adding color in post could create a more natural look, but digital editing is not for everybody, of course.
