So nice to see that you finally went 'on tour'! I look forward to seeing the loot that comes out of it. :)

Well, I'm certainly busy. Shooting so many pictures that the only problem is finding the time to edit them (and send them where they need to go). Already it seems perfectly normal to go somewhere, take pix and maybe just stay there a while... rather than heading off to a place called 'home'. :)

The family convened on an isolated cottage in Wales last weekend. This is son's g/f and nephew's g/f, looking at the new baby.

Not as sharp as I'd have liked. I had to crop a bit, and the shot was off to the left to far really. But these shots are really hard to capture, especially for an air show novice like me.

D7100, 70-200 mm (with 2 x TC) @ 140 mm. f5.6, 1/3200, ISO400

Comments always welcome.

No harm in cropping in further if you ask me. You hopefully would still have the resolution to deal with it.

Is the vignette from the TC or post? Seems quite strong on my screen.

window shot ...

Love the mood in this. Could live with this light all day.

Here’s mine.

As always, comments appreciated.

What a great, detailed shot!

Thanks very much seadragon. I don't usually use my own shots for for a desktop image but I did with this one. The detail shows quite nicely on a 27 in. iMac screen.

Too bad we're still stuck with posting these miniature size images. :(

Added in Post. I'll have another play tonight as I've been given the same message twice now!

Love the backlight effect in this one.

I spent the last six weekends shooting in the Dolomites. Here is the first of my new releases from these outings, a view of Tre Cime di Lavaredo. Click on the photo to see it larger and to read the story.

Beautiful shot with a great perspective Erin...I can feel the chilly water around my legs.

The stage has been keeping me busy enough that I went a long time without editing anything. But last week I managed to get completely caught up on my editing!

Welcome back P! Good to see you here again :) You've really brought out a sense of depth in this photo. Beautiful picture.

Forget the perfect sharpness, you've captured that moment in an aerial display where the crowd takes a synchronised sharp in-take of breath for that 'will they / won't they collide' moment. Good job.

Did you add the vignette in post, or was this the lens? If it was in post, my only suggestion would be to move it over to draw the eye to the planes themselves rather than the centre. It's no biggie though, I think it's a great picture :)

Alex

Tried again.

Better?

Went for a bit more symmetry.

Forgotten which station this was, I think Leicester Square.

That'll be the Golden Mile section of The Great West Road. This'll sound like a very geeky thing to do, but I like looking for film locations on Google Earth. This one was easy - I Googled 'Barratt deco building' as that was the most definitive part of the pic, and a resulting Wiki entry took me straight there.

Nice, someone got it! I do the same, normally just find out the town something was in then look at a local business, search it with Google Maps. Like if you see a McDonald's in the background, it's easy to just search McDonald's and check each one on Street View until you find the right one.

I'll add the the welcome backs. Some majestic and magical images grace us once again and to some really beautiful pictures that continue to be posted to this site by so many talented photographers.
