Nice, someone got it! I do the same, normally just find out the town something was in then look at a local business, search it with Google Maps. Like if you see a McDonald's in the background, it's easy to just search McDonald's and check each one on Street View until you find the right one.
I like this one a lot better![]()
Landscapes and planes are nice 'n all, but they're not for me.

I feel much better knowing that I'm not the only one who does this. Could be a good idea for a thread....Where in the World?
Congratulations in advance
Cheers

Well, I'm certainly busy. Shooting so many pictures that the only problem is finding the time to edit them (and send them where they need to go). Already it seems perfectly normal to go somewhere, take pix and maybe just stay there a while... rather than heading off to a place called 'home'.
The family convened on an isolated cottage in Wales last weekend. This is son's g/f and nephew's g/f, looking at the new baby.

Well it's good to have a speciality. I'm a jack of all trades (crap at everything in other words!)
Nice picture. I like the black and red theme. What's the reflective base she is sitting on? Makes the shot look professional, like a pro studio.

That's super Adam... great stuff!
I've really been liking all the loon pictures you've been posting recently. Wish I could find wildlife like that to try and practice my skills on.
Thanks very much pezdaddy.
It would be great if anyone with the desire is able to find wildlife like loons. For me, the photograph is the added benefit of the much greater experience of enjoying nature.

Am I simply stating the obvious when I say "great colours".
Well done AFB.

My work, now that I am sort of retired is mostly scenics of this Valley where I live. I still do a lot of film work but digital is now my go to. This photo is one I shot about 5 years ago with my Mamiya RB67 Pro SD. Sucker weighs 6 1/2 lbs. before a lens is on it. Focuses with a bellows and it is, overall, my favorite camera of all time. It is mechanical with no electronics what-so-ever. Only a hand held meter (Gossen Luna Pro hand held) with which I meter either reflected light or an 18% gray card. This is a gray card photo that has been enhanced in PhotoShop to get it to be what I saw. 120 Fuji film.
Tried again.

Went for a bit more symmetry.

Absolutely cracking. Model or friend?
She could be both!
I think the framing works nicely but for my taste it's probably a stop underexposed. I like my colours to pop and that red (and even the white cross) looks a little tired, if that makes sense.
