Damn always the way isnt it... I had chance of a gorgeous sunset on hols in portugal but there was a group of drunk louts hanging round and didnt want them in shot.Thanks for the comment, kenoh. I always get stunning sunsets when I'm in the office or at home. Neither are a good location for such shots.
When I head out to try and capture one, it always ends up being a dull one.

I hear you... Story of my life... Skies of fire on Wednesday this week and i didnt have my camera... God damn it!!!
I have two DSLR's, but sometimes I wished I'd kept my D300 and 18-55 lens so it could live in the car. But ultimately decided I'd trade them in to put towards my D750.
Passing through the locks . Hopefully the folks on the pontoon boat remembered to bring the bagels and cream cheese .

That's really nice. I think it would have more impact if you got the background a bit whiter rather than grey.
since it's sunday I thought a church picture would be nice. This was taken a few years ago in Budapest. The churches in Europe are just grand, in the states we have few that match the color and detail that the European ones display.

I don't recall what flower this is, but it grows on a vine that spread through and around some other plants at the gardens.
