Used to love BTCC. Again mybfav time was the seasons in mid nineties, Jason Plato, Steve Soper.

The years where the Audi Quattros wasted everyone.

I know. I recognised the Saab. That is Emma Kimilainen in front no?

Nice motion shot. I went to the superbikes at Knockhill a few years back and couldnt get a picture of the bikes. too fast for me.

My son (now 9) was thrown in to butterfly at age 6 or 7 because the team basically needed a lane filler. He has been legal for several years (after DQing for most of his first season) but always soooo slow. Although he is still not quite placing in the meets, he is slowly working his way up and has managed to have PRs every meet this season, and today was only 8/10s of a second from getting third place. It's like all the tumblers are finally falling into place, and I am super proud of him for continuing with it, despite his lack of placing. His sister (who is a better overall swimmer but did not swim this morning because her age group is super competitive, and she has girls in her group who swim at the national level) was watching some of the older kids diving and commented that she wished she could dive like that. My husband and I have been telling them for years that if they dove *out* instead of *down* they'd drop considerable time, so now we are on the hunt for some dive instruction this week. ;) Maybe that will be the trick to boost him up to placing next week.
