Got to be re-connected to the archive tomorrow - maybe.

Old pictures with Canon kit.

We where on our 'Honeymoon'.

It was a real adventure. Crossing rivers, driving on paths, up old volcanoes; the usual.

My wife did not realise that we should have been accompanied by an official guide. My old Mitsubishi SWB van did the job. From 12" deep sand to 36"deep water that machine just seemed to eat it up.
Oh and I must not forget the fog, ice, snow, holes in the road, no white lines and me driving totally out of my brain!

Best meal I remember was in a cafe on the first day. Local salmon. Wow!

Regards. Sharkey

Hey pals! Leaving Scotland today and I am super sad. I'll have more to share later. But here's a little long exposure I got yesterday before the midges came for me. haha.

Got to spend some time in Iceland recently. What a remarkably beautiful country...with sights to photograph at every turn.

That is on the "definitely one day" list. Beautiful capture

A little more detail of the rock gouged out by glacial movement quite some time ago.

Went to Culzean Castle near Ayr yesterday. Last time we were there it was a fun filled day of whining daughters and ill preparedness for the heat. Yesterday was the opposite. The girls were into it, we had supplies in a picnic and changes of clothes. So a great day out. We also found the beach this time and the girls had a blast while I managed to get some snaps. I say snaps as despite a great day I wasnt really feeling the camera mojo.

Found this funky looking post in the sand, about 8/9 feet tall with some seaweed on it and thought it looked cool. Hope you like it.

I can't wait to get back some day. I've been recommending Iceland to friends. This is such a good picture - it has a very powerful mood to it. It's inspiring me to post a few more of my own.
