Nice framing.
Cheers. I'm a PS novice and this looks like a good technique to try.
More exacting control in many regards. Very useful for Aspie's or OCD types. What's the difference between macro rails and just moving your focus point?
Here's to hoping the building goes off smoothly and quickly for you, Hugh, and that you're still taking the energetic young one for a walk regularly, even if not as far afield as normal.Too much building work around the house and garden (new conservatory), plus a bit of feeling down and losing the will to push myself out with the camera.
I think you got me mixed up with someone else. I've had LR standalone for years. But I only recently moved to the Photography plan, so I've only just got PS.You and I both. I've had the program for YEARS too, but have only ever used to fix little things here and there. Never to this extent.
I think you mentioned that you have CS3 too, right? Same version I'm using.
I'll see how much they cost then!Another day another water-droplet on grass from me.
I really loved my selfie being visible in this, but that was pretty quickly forgotten about when I realised I could see the micro droplets that line the entire blade of grass! This droplet is about 2mm across, so I have no idea how small those micro-droplets are!

Beautiful warm light.
Looks like you got the technique sorted pretty quick!first time shooting fireworks, frantically adjusted settings to see what works ... this one is 100 ISO, f/2.8, 1/4 sec ..

Long way to go to hang the washing!
Glad to see you are keeping up the shooting and posting!
Thank you, Alex. I think I'm coming out of it now; being busy always helps, and yes, having an energetic young hound means you have to go out whateverHere's to hoping the building goes off smoothly and quickly for you, Hugh, and that you're still taking the energetic young one for a walk regularly, even if not as far afield as normal.
Glad your feeling brighter. I always feel better when I can get out with my camera. I've been off all week and been out twice with mine. Last time I was off I didn't get out at all.Thank you, Alex. I'm serious. Stop posting ****ing flower photos people. There's no challenge in that. Any knacker with a phone camera can do it.
Lift your game. Strive for better.
