PHONE camera!

Amsterdam, 2015, iphone 6.

I'll be honest here, I looked up the EXIF on Flickr and found you'd left the DPI info in. My iPhone SE shoots 72 DPI shots ;)
Otherwise it would have been a guess, but at first look I was leaning towards a phone camera.

Cheers :)

Thank you for the compliment. Perhaps more important, thank you for the civility of your response.

In a world gone mad, and when everyone is at everyone else’s throats over one thing or another - someone has to start making choices to just let there be peace, joy, happiness, friendliness... I almost deleted what I said about my “PS,” but I think it gives context to the matter. We can remain different on one level, but still come together elsewhere, and should! I may believe something contrary to the next person, but more so, I believe we need to become “United” again.

PHONE camera!

Ain’t gonna lie here - I tilted my screen (iPhone) to an angle and saw the ever-so-slightest curve in the vertical planes of the building. Of what little I know of photography, I do know that this is a problem camera phones are prone to. At the same time though, this could have very well been a proper camera, but too close. As I said, “educated guess.” ;)

Last waterfall one. Always amazes me the range of results you can get from a scene just by moving around in a 10-foot zone. Comments always appreciated.

Very nice but I am compelled now to always look for a shopping cart (trolley is it across the pond) in these waterfall shots ... happy to have not seen any for a while :)

Cheers

Time for something different

I can't remember the last time I saw a napkin ring! This one is very unique, no doubt. Love the lighting too - looks like dinner time! Or breakfast?

My submission for today is from a couple weeks ago. From the park near my house. I love the color of this one

Question for all/anyone: what is the best service to use for sharing photos? I recently signed up for Tumblr, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to embed the image using the link from there; also, I think Tumblr degrades quality. Is there a service that easy to use and allows the full size of the image? Or can someone help me figure out Tumblr? Please?
Thanks all!

I use flickr and it doesn't degrade the quality IMO. It also keeps the original pixels of your jpeg which is 30.1 Mpx for my camera. It even shows EXIF in case you want to know the settingsUntitled.jpg

I cannot describe how off-putting & demanding is to manage 11Tb worth of drives full of important files (pending jobs, concluded jobs and personal archives), and trying to squeeze out space as more scores of data is going to be acquired in the next few days. Space is scarcer-er on my drives than the living conditions in Tokyo or Shenzhen. Yes, 11 Terra-nightmares.

The only good thing coming out of this space-management, are the little pleasant photographic gems I am unearthing. Photos I didn't even bother giving a second look at the time of their capture. Here's one more of them.
