.. early-morning walk about the local Rec Centre gardens yesterday.
Had to spend another night in this place, hopefully home today. Yesterday, saw hovering over lake with slow approach. Jumped out of bed, grabbed phone and went to window (entire wall is glass so can imagine my view.) Didn’t know two would fit on the pad - but the reason for the slow approach.
Blue weed diptych. One of the plants on the local weed nazis' hit list. One wonders why they make an all out assault if it's on private property but ignore it entirely when the town is the host.

I was out on the boardwalk shooting some aquatic flowers when suddenly the five geese who had been placidly floating around on the lake decided to take off. Of course I didn't have the right lens on and forgot to change settings, but grabbed this shot anyway:
