This takes me back my childhood when we had a Parakeet. It’s cage was on the mantle piece directly over the dial telephone. He would imitate the sound of dialing.
lol - I had parakeets, a Nanday Conur, and a Mynah Bird. The Mynah had a wide vocabulary and a lot of weird imitations - he picked up the sound of the furnace cycling. Fun stuff!
The birds were in an outdoor habitat at the Atlanta Zoo. Pretty neat setup with lots of parakeets. I'd love to know what this pair were talking to each other about as it appeared to be a very in-depth conversation

I used to practically live in a mechanical room at a job I had years ago. All that 'stuff'. Pumps, valves, sensors, steam vents, chillers, recirc pumps, cisterns, etc...
My wife laughed when she heard someone talking to their dog, saying "où le chat'. But what were they supposed to say? She said it still sounded funny... *shrug*
