No photo ops today, but just have to make one. Just out of surgery. Doing going good but can’t move about yet. Had to show off with the breathing machine. They set at 1500ml, I topped it at 4000 ml and freaked the nurses out. Now set at 3000ml. Had pacemaker implant 3 hours ago. Another hour before can sit up and move about. View attachment 2031910

🪨 🌊 Davenport Landing Beach, Davenport, California. 🪨 🌊

Unique landforms and picturesque cave with the cold salt water gushing into the layers of slate.

See that mysterious dark cave in the middle? Yeah... I was trying to get myself to go inside the cave without putting myself in danger. However, it was impossible to find a way to get in safely. Along with that, I was also dealing with high tides. I ended up taking an "L" that day.

I keep going back to this: very soothing and clean color, shapes and textures. Needed this this morning. Thank you.

My buddy the turtle was back again in his favorite spot (his new friend wasn't around, though) so since I had the Bazooka on the camera I fired off a few shots. Then in post-processing I decided it would be interesting to get really up close and personal.....

I used to put my 14' boat in at the ramp under the Jersey end of the bridge. I shudder at the thought of being out there by myself.

His shell looked all mossy and yucky and that was one thing which prompted me to simply do a serious crop and just show his head -- not very friendly-looking, is he? Not a creature with whom to snuggle and cuddle....
