The key to a photo like this is establishing rapport with the subject, which I think I managed here.

Not my best image of the month and not taken in June either. However, it is one of many (about 9000) images in a time laspe video that I put together of everything I ate in 2009.

Wray Castle looks (a bit) like a medieval castle, but it's actually a rich man's folly, built in the 1840s. His wife took one look at it... and refused to live there...

Thanks for the complement guys. Window light = awesome. When people see pictures of this minority they usually ask "Whats up with all the red?" - well, Like I said, it's high altitude burns that you see on almost all the kids. I spent a day with this family around new years eating traditional Tuzu food and trying to make noodles with them.

Was a lot of fun. Thanks again for all the complements.

This isn't exactly the greatest picture known to man but it paints a surreal fact: Downloadable music is taking a toll on the cd stores around the world. This is an abandoned CD Warehouse in Addison, Texas. I've been seeing a lot more places just like this one shut down.

I could write an essay on this photo.

I remember places like this. Shops like this are fairly obsolete now. Why would we buy physical CDs when we can obtain the same end result online for less cost, effort and packaging?

Progress isn't necessarily bad - especially if it can allow artist to produce their own music, distribute and loosen the grip of big business!

I only buy CDs from my favourite bands now. Most other music, I will download.
