My first squirrel picture - this little blighter looking cheekily at me from a gargoyle on the local church.
Advice - is there anything I can do to make the squirrel show up more against the stone background?
Cheers
Hugh
Don't shoot a grey animal on a grey background?
I think part of the charm of this picture is that he kind of blends in and peeks out rather than pops up out

I sorry i only spent 2 mins on this, and I rather threw everything at it and overcooked it for my taste, but things like cropping tighter, sharpening the squirrel, softening the background, make the squirrel brighter/contrasty/more saturated do the opposite to the background. etc. will help make him stand out![]()
Wow and I thought I was behind! Easter was ages ago.

Through mild modification on some lenses, it is possible.

Have you got the camera or the lens wrong?

So why put a £75 lens on a £1250 camera? Like putting diesel in a Ferrari!
Awesome photo. Do you mind if I use it for the wallpaper on my mac?
One day I will get enough courage to participate in this thread.

And none should be given!
Apparently hair of the dog originally referred to an apocryphal cure for rabies.

If noticed, the tiger is cross eyed. He could possibly see multiple squirrels...what would he do??? Hmmm
Hmm, thank you! Does it work (hangover, not rabies!)?
I like that one. Nice use of sky. Shame that there is a bit of tree encroaching in the top left hand corner. Nice job though.
Here's one of my BFF.
