Took a bunch of pics with my NEX5, best pic was the one with my 5s.

To be honest? No. The biggest appeal of poppies to me is their bright color and the large number of them in a field. You took away one of those.

Fair enough. I have a similar picture tomorrow with standard colours. This wasn't the most densely populated field though as access was limited.
 
I don't often use my iPhone for photography, but I did work for a professional photographer many years ago. I don't claim to be good at it, but I got this one shot a few weeks ago that I feel is worth sharing. I took his hand held, using my iPhone 5, and touching the screen for my focus point.

Beautiful. Isn't it great when the weather and location are just what you need?
I'd print that on a nice big canvas.
