Nargh, Canon is just what I ended up on. No fan boy at all.

But I do near piss myself with laughter watching photography fanboy wars take place in online forums. Most the people arguing can't even take a decent photo.

Yes. People.
I was just yanking your chain mate.

Totally agree on the fanboy wars. It's ridiculous. If you're happy with a particular brand then all power to you, but don't pretend like it's the be all and end all. I always choose the camera that best suits my needs, which means I've had Canon, Pentax, Fuji, Panasonic and Sony over the years. They worked for me but it doesn't mean that they'd work for everyone and it certainly doesn't mean they are the best. Less time posing - more time getting others to.

Fanboyism makes me laugh. It is all a bit of fun on here... we need to stop taking it so seriously and get out and shoot!

After all... I have tried Canon, Nikon, Sony, Panasonic and Leica and non of them have made me a decent photographer!

Granted a couple of them have made me enjoy stroking them a bit more but I find that doesnt help with my composition. :)

The way i believe they work us that this transport backs under the antenna and jacks it up off the ground. That then frees the three concrete pedestals that the antenna sits on. The ctane is then used to move the concrete pedestals to the new position. The transport then moves along the tracks to the new location where they have repositioned the concrete pedestals and the transport than lowers the antenna back onto them.

That is some challenge lining those up properly I would imagine!
Even a job like mine gets the odd perk. Wish I'd been into photography years ago. I know a number of people who were buying stuff and then selling it on (which we are not supposed to do).
Sadly there won't be any more camera equipment coming back.

Canon vs Nikon Fanboy Feuds? say it isn't so!!
I was open to all brands when I bought mine, the 810 felt most comfortable to hold. Whichever it would have been, I still gotta learn to use the thing either way.

oh yes, photo time, all the flowers being posted, I remembered taking this on the weekend away which seems so distant now.

I've been thinking of converting mine into a bird hide. Mostly it's full of crap we don't need anymore.
Sounds like my old shed. You couldn't actually see the floor for all of the junk thrown in there. I no longer have to wrench my back out trying to pull the lawnmower off of it all. It also appeared to be a graveyard for snails as one corner had a huge pile of shells in it.

Ours is the home of spiders. Sadly I'm not that keen on them. Mrs AFB even less so!

I'm ashamed to say that I got Mrs MacRy to drag stuff out of the old shed before I'd dispose of it because of the spider situation. I am petrified of them.
