A quite afternoon....I spent a good long while here just listening to the flowing waters, letting it drown out all the sounds of this crazy society we live in these days.. I hope you all enjoy the image.

The Germans are coming!

An abandoned observation post harking back from WWII, positioned high along our coastline in the St Vincents Gulf of South Australia in readiness for getting the word out if any seafaring vessels arrived, including submarines. It's now an overnight shelter for sheep, with the solid metal doors ripped off the hinges & tossed aside so they can have free access in!

I'll be back for some timelapses here going from golden hour to well after the Milkyway has risen, with a nearly 3 metre long motorised slider on its way to me & I have a 50 metre long cablecam I am itching to try with timelapses on a still sunset as it can be blown around easily. This particular site is extremely exposed & blustery, but a still night shall happen, hopefully in conjunction with a smaller portion of the moon being visible, so as to not interfere with the timelapses & exposing for the Milkyway.

Captured last night using the PureShot app on my iPhone 11 Pro Max, with the image saved as a DNG (RAW) file & edited swiftly on the same phone.
