Not sure how this happened. At first I thought this was a double exposure but it’s two different birds. 🤔

85 1.2, F13, ISO 100, 1/160 and HDR +1

Did you use the in camera HDR mode? That takes 2-3 shots in succession and merges them. I think that’s why one bird looks a bit like a ghost. At 1/160th, the bird movement would allow for the separation. I’ve never tried HDR on a moving subject to know for sure.

Ok, HDR on a 'moving subject', that sounds reasonable. I've used HDR quite a few times, but I guess not on a moving subject because I have never seen this before.
