Lovely stuff everyone!
Still getting to grips with my new camera but it's ticking all the boxes so far!

It was. I'm really not happy with it. It was my first time shooting anything other than watches or the occasional person with a strobe and I didn't have a lot of time to play around and get it set up right. I would have liked, at least, one more light to give the bike a rim light. It's my birthday next weekend and I've got a couple of Yongnuo YN-560 iii strobes coming my way. Looking forward to trying those out.
I'm also annoyed with the big black line on the wall which couldn't be helped because the wall itself was barely bigger than the bike. It's all part of the learning process I guess.
Here's the other shot I got, which I'm also unhappy with.
Another bird (sorry) -- I was pretty excited to grab this sequence today. I thought the 4-in-1 composite showed the action better than any one of the photos individually.

Spent Saturday afternoon at Hillsborough River State Park. Lots of mosquitoes made for a rushed time in the park. Couldn't stand still for too long without being bitten. I did manage to get a few good shots though.
But, but, there's no birds

I took a bit of a bird break for sun, sand, great food and more than a couple Longboard Island Lagers but have no fear Hugh...some Hawaiian birds are coming.

Your owl shot are great! Are you able to identify particular owls?
