Sweny's chemist shop, mostly unchanged in the years since it was described by James Joyce in Ulysses in 1922. It only ceased trading as a pharmacy in 2009 and is now operated by volunteers as a Joyce bookshop cum museum.

So, you all may (or may have not) noticed that I disappeared on you for a while. I had a lot of crazy things going on in my life for the past few months (new job, new house, etc), but I got plenty of time with my camera in hand this past weekend for Planet Comicon in Kansas City. So, I'm back.

What's with that water? I don't think I've ever seen such green water. I'd love to travel for photography, but family circumstances permit.

That's a good question... It was a while ago, so I'll have to go back and check if something went awry in post or something.
EDIT... Doing a quick google image search leads me to believe it is indeed green... And Wikipedia...

Or... Some years ago some bright spark knew a guy would come take a picture and post it on the holy grail of photo forums. That day of posting would be St Patrick's day. And so they dyed the water green for him...
