So, you all may (or may have not) noticed that I disappeared on you for a while. I had a lot of crazy things going on in my life for the past few months (new job, new house, etc), but I got plenty of time with my camera in hand this past weekend for Planet Comicon in Kansas City. So, I'm back.

Going back to SE Asia... This series brought to you from Hanoi...

Probably the most photographed POI in Hanoi, the bridge over Hoan Kiem Lake near the city center...

What's with that water? I don't think I've ever seen such green water. I'd love to travel for photography, but family circumstances permit.

Your Comicon looks more interesting than the one I attend in Birmingham UK every year with my daughter. Welcome back, and I hope your new job and house are all that you hoped for.

That's a good question... It was a while ago, so I'll have to go back and check if something went awry in post or something.

EDIT... Doing a quick google image search leads me to believe it is indeed green... And Wikipedia...

... it was formerly known as Luc Thuy meaning "Green Water".

Or... Some years ago some bright spark knew a guy would come take a picture and post it on the holy grail of photo forums. That day of posting would be St Patrick's day. And so they dyed the water green for him... :)

No? Crap joke? Sounded funnier in my head... You lot kill me! :)

Lol. I had to do a double take there. For a second, I thought you had captured a picture of me on my recent trip to Joshua Tree.
And that's 2 pics of photographer photos in Joshua Tree posted today!

Awesome! My evil plan worked. :D It was your photo that prodded me to post mine. I checked your Exif data for the date and saw they were not the same. I'll be returning shortly for better weather.
