Another beautiful picture. The terrain is just stunning. Now, if you could just turn it into a nice horizontal to fit my desktop picture format :)
Too kind lizardofwoz. I can do the valley floor (the walls):

Valley in Snowdonia
by another scotsman, on Flickr

or something that takes in the whole valley. Fell between two focal lengths. Have a look on Flickr and see if there is anything that takes your fancy and I'll see what I can do on the editing front.

One last egg .....

There's a clearly defined circulatory system now , blood flowing and heart (right above the eye in the lower right and hiding behind some other guts) beating . Still has a pretty big yolk sac . In a few days , the embryo will have filled up the egg and will , hopefully , pop out into a fish .

Almost looks like writing inside that yoke.

I like this photo but I question whether the horizon should be horizontal or not - the musher is upright but the trail marker is leaning slightly to the left, which could just be how it was placed! I guess that's the one thing I don't like about it (ie the uncertainty about whether there is or is not a mistake for lack of a better word).

I do like that this photo shows the isolation of the place and race itself.

Cheers
I'll have to try editing it to make the horizon level and see how I like it when I get the chance. It ended up that way out of a combination of trying to get the musher upright, and having a very limited amount of time to frame the shot while they were going by.

I'm pretty sure the trail marker was placed leaning a bit, or at least blown that way by the wind.

Like the expanse of sky with only a few distant clouds of varying textures.

Thought the red thing in the foreground was a fire hydrant until I saw the other buoys.
Thank you very much.

Cheers :)

Dont mention the fire hydrant!
