Very nice. I love Snowdonia. One of my favourite places in the UK. Bedgellert is beautiful.
Cheers MacRy. Despite being only 80-mins drive away, I don't get there as often as I should - like the Lake District, it tends to get too busy when the weather is decent.

That's the problem with nice places......they get spoiled by people being there. I usually go for a mini break somewhere in the UK for my wedding anniversary, which is in late October and places like The Lakes, Snowdonia, the Peak District etc. are pretty empty and we often get lucky with the weather too. I couldn't bear it in the Peak summer months though.

I climbed that mountain when I was sixteen as part of a team building exercise at work. It has two big rocks at the top called Adam and Eve and it's tradition to jump across the gap from one to the other. I'm not good with heights and it scared the bejesus out of me.

Probably not allowed anymore due to health and safety!

Beautiful. Agree the colour version is more pleasing to my eye.

I too am not that far from there, but rarely get to venture out these days.
Better go before I'm too old for the climbing!

Maybe you should consider the Lincolnshire wolds?...I remember going out last year on a sunday on one of the nicest days of the year, in the height of summer. I drove around for a couple of hours or so stopping to take pictures, and I passed 1 car, 2 bikes and another photographer taking pictures of a scantily clad model in a field ;0

How do we plan this? Pick a date (doodle.com). Let a local dad pick a spot (campsite, B&B for the time challenged dads).
See what the interest level is I guess?

The good thing about the photo location is that the car park is just beside/along the bridge - no climbing involved unless you want to explore a few more of the locations around this one. There's even a cafe there for any accompanying persons. .

Really like this and saw it "in the flesh" on my last trip to Sedona.
