It was my first time out on the street with my M9 and I haven't got to grips with the metering. I should have taken another shot but didn't as I was hurrying for my train. Wish I'd have missed it now.

Thanks. If I had metered for the highlights I could have brought the shadows up in post and had some detail in his head.Hmm... I Think the shot is pretty good as it is, the high contrast gives it a nice bit of grittiness. How would you meter this given the high contrast? If you meter for the shadows there's a good possibility of blowing the highlights on his face.
