Not sure if this is the same pair that I saw a couple of weeks ago making eyes at each other, but I wouldn't be surprised, as these two were cruising along together and then she decided to take a diversionary turn:

Ducks mate for life, I used to go to a Wendy's that was across the street from a pond. This one pair would stand outside the door begging for french fries. One day I noticed one of the pair got hit by a car, it was laying on the grass and it's mate was standing by it side mourning. It stayed several days, to this day it still upsets me, even simple animals can hurt inside.

Goodboy Royce is probably not a Russian Blue. His mother was a black feral cat that kept coming to our house. We eventually took her in and before we could get her fixed she rewarded us with 4 kittens (everyone in the family is now fixed). Of the four, 3 black and 1 grey (Goodboy Royce). Pretty sure we have seen his father, a rather large grey cat that was fairly battle scarred but haven't seen him recently. Even though GBR is grey with a rather short dense coat he has yellow eyes not green and he has a bit of black banding on his tail if you look closely. I believe in our history with critters we have had one "prue bred" and that was a yellow Lab, Emma. The rest of our critters have either sought us out or have come from adoptions. Prue breds or mutts and just cats, they all love you just the same.
Not sure how pure bred my Bear is, yes they love you. Got to socialize kittens early, hard to get a feral cat to trust you. I have two boys who live outside, one has been here as long as I have, about 7 years. Now he demands affection all the time.

Another shot from my January excursion to the La Givrine ski station in the Jura mountains. This one shot from a moving train on the way back down, so maybe not the best. I like the houses with the background of the Alps and Lake Geneva (or more correctly Lake Leman). The highest mountain is the Mt. Blanc btw.

Would be great to have a house here but the prices in Switzerland are insane. Houses in neighbouring France like the Savoy region are more affordable.

Another machine, circa 1930's. I actually rode on this car at the Western Railroad Museum. One like it originally went from Oakland to Sacramento, through Walnut Creek and across Suisan Bay (on a ferry no less). This car was rebuilt from several cars. It was called the Sacramento Northern Railroad. Part of the original roadbed is a couple of blocks from my place, now called The Iron Horse Trail.

This is slightly out of the ordinary but I am in a diptych group where one person sends a photo to someone else and then the second person has to shoot a companion image. I was sent the blue jar image on the left and my coordinate is the one on the right.
