A favourite stop of ours heading east to stays in Harrison and Hope has always been the Department of Fisheries & Oceans (Federal Gov't) Chehalis River Salmond Enhancement Facility (inland from Harrison Mills, BC) -- the photo captures a view of the largest rearing channel(s) being filled with water (July/17). A scenic location, offering much to self-explore and observe - and with good information signage throughout the grounds. Staff on-hand are always friendly, and helpful.

from that snowy day in january. it seems appropriate since we still have leftover snow from yesterday, although thankfully it is melting rapidly right now. bottom right is a light leak. it was the first time i had used that camera and i didn't hold the button on the bottom to rewind it, so the film broke off in camera. my daughter luckily was able to retrieve it for me, as she is in a darkroom class and can do this kind of stuff...but some of the images got a little wonky in the rescue. luckily for me, i like light leaks and that vintage softness, so it only adds to the charm for me. | fuji superia xtra 400 | lab dev | self scan

One of the main reasons I‘m trying out the X-T3 is the film sims that Fuji offers. Not only do they have 7 classics, you can make and store 7 custom ones of your own. I don’t think it can sim a light leak though! The piano shot above was using a B&W one I came up with. SOOC JPG.

someone on instagram commented that she liked the “film vibe.” yeah, that because it’s actually film. ?
