Tanagra (not really)
My experience with Fujifilm fi!m recipes is this:

The Jpg is affected by the recipe.
The RAF raw file is just an open book, no recipe is attached to it. There have been Jpg images I attempted in Lightroom to reproduce the recipe with the raw file, and it took a lot of fussing with.

I would love the recipe to be baked into the raw file.
I haven’t tried it yet, but Fuji offers its own RAW File Converter program that works with the film sims and the like. From what I gather, there’s a lot to figure out, but that’s just about every darkroom software that can do a lot.

Nice reflection of the building.

Say what!!! No ducks in sight. Where did they go? :(

Thanks! The geese and ducks come-and-go and as it happened, at the time I stepped out on the deck to take this shot because the light was just right, no ducks or geese around. I am seeing more couples hanging out together, though, which is a good sign that Spring is indeed almost here and that in another month or so we might have ducklings and goslings.... Usually that happens around the first week or so in May.

Interesting! There is something under the water 🤔. You can see the wavy water pattern that it's making. I wonder what it is. Maybe it's a duck or geese hiding under the lake? 💦🦆

We have aerators in the lake in three or four places, plus there is a partly-submerged tree branch over in that vicinity as well. Sometimes the geese and ducks hang out on that branch. Also, now that it is Spring, or nearly so, pretty soon the lake maintenance people will be putting our fountain back in there as well, once they're sure that we won't have any more cold snaps.

The longest dog tongue ever
I guess it's very dry in the cold and they are getting thirsty.
Beautiful pictures, are you just standing on the side or running on another sleigh?
I was standing a turn by the trail. Huskies open their mouths and project their tongues out like that when running a full speed. Maybe that creates additional room for them to breath? It would be interesting to know why :)

I was curious.

- Since the only means that dogs have to release heat from their bodies is through their tongues and the pads of their paws, mushers won’t run them if there’s a risk that they’ll get “fried.” -

I had several dogs, one husky too. I know that instead of sweating , they rely on panting to keep cool. When they pant, air moves rapidly over their tongue and through their mouth and lungs, allowing moisture to evaporate and cool them down.
This is in the heat though , I wonder if it’s only stress , fatigue running that much, we would be sweating so maybe they do it too? Maybe
