That looks lovely. New toy?

No, got it a little over a year ago to try out film. I didn't realize it was a rangefinder when i bought it so I dont use it too often as thats not really my style. It was only $20, and makes a good prop when its not in use.

Well, it's been a busy couple of weeks from a photo standpoint.
Just got back from a 4 day trip to Portland, OR. Had never visited before. Wonderful city. Took a day trip to Mount St. Helens and another day trip through the Columbia River Gorge. 500+ photos to look through...
And I'm still not done processing the shots from Disney Concert Hall in LA or the BAPS Mandir in Chino Hills, CA (from the week prior).

Since I can only go post one a day here, I'll go back a week and share this for today.

BAPS Mandir in Chino Hills, CA.

Thanks Ken. It really is a peach of a lens. Did you have a go at the dark background shot that we discussed!

I did yes. I took an aeriel the mermaid figurine and played with it. Will post a pic for a laugh. It is easier than i thought to get some semblance of the effect but as i had it on the bed, the bedspread shows up.

Need to try again with a bit more thought into placement of subject and speedlite.

Yes that lens is certainly looking fantastic
