Beautiful spot. Getting nearer home for a visit to your sister?

Other than the fact I clipped her paws, I really like the expression in this one. It just seemed to work better in B&W to my eyes.

Comments always welcome.

Yeah, I clip my cat's claws too. Oh sorry, you said paws … ;) Love the black and white treatment.

I had two Nikon FE bodies, black & chrome - one for colour transparencies, the other for b&w. Great camera, built to last; I must have used them for twenty years... :)

Lovely camera, still have mine but haven't used it for a long time. I liked the split-image focusing on that camera. It was just beginning to get brassed when I changed to digital.

Shot this one with a little point & shoot camera the other night.

That's an amazing picture—as others have said, ethereal. Love it. It just goes to prove that it's the twelve inches behind the camera that matters.

Got to do the washing sometime I suppose … ;) Just kidding, did you enjoy being back? I bet it felt a bit strange going in.

This was just a test image for the new 70-200 F4L lens I bought yesterday. I was trying to get a shot of the dog running towards me but I could not cross the street quick enough and there is a fence right there obstructing the view. Not sure the owner of the dog was aware I was taking shots of his dog, but oh well.

This one is outstanding AFB! Great colour, lighting, composition, very sharp and you've captured a really nice mood. Well done.

Nice one and not easy to get Robert...they tend to be quite shy and elusive.

Hoping to get my camera back one of these days. I dropped it and so far it's been in the repair shop for 6 weeks. :(

Thanks for the nice words :)

Those columns are impressive! Huge fan of volcanic rock here.
Great light and sense of scale with the figure you've included here, nice job!

Fantastic shot but I have to know, is this big rocks on the shoreline? or have you managed to pull a cheeky one and make small rocks look huge using a trick of perspective? I am trying to work it out.

???
