Had the opportunity on Monday to finally get up to the hills for a spot of Autumnal colour fix, but they are almost all gone already. Unfortunately the botanic gardens have been closed for a while due to this pesky Virona Cirus thing! It gave me a chance to test my new (to me) Sony a7III, but it looks like the 28-70mm kit lens is a tad soft in parts. I don't mind that though, I never have been a pixel-peeper!
I hope everyone is keeping safe & well, wherever you are. I stepped away from social media & the like for a while to concentrate on my photography, the Mindful Photography groups I hold & have ended up learning documentary film-making as a result of the urban exploring I do. I did a series of photographic explorations of places out in the country & after chatting to the owners about what had happened for these gorgeous places to become abandoned I discovered an interest in the stories behind them as well. Fenna, my Assistance Dog just turned two yesterday, she's beautiful & enables me to live well with my CPTSD.
