Luna trying to decide if she wants to finish eating the cut up bits of strawberry or if she should check out the new (to us) PowerBook. Curiosity wins out.

Oops, forgot to send this post a few hours ago! Just realized it was still sitting here waiting to be sent. I was delighted and surprised to look out the window yesterday afternoon and there was Alfred sunning himself on the pier! Happy to see him again! I quickly grabbed the RX10 and fired off a few shots of him and then got back to what I was doing, which was putting newly-purchased groceries away.....

Must be a special duck, it's got bands on both legs.
The red color string could represent the desire for a mate :)

Just kidding with you. I enjoy watching Korean shows, and sometimes a red string is tied around the wrist or ankle of the "handsome" young lady with the hope of attracting a young man.

The Red Thread of Fate is an East Asian belief originating from a Chinese Legend. According to this , the God ties an invisible red cord around the ankles of those that are destined to meet one another in a certain situation or help each other in a certain way. In Japanese and Korean culture, it is thought to be tied around the little finger.
