Here's my photo of the day. Not sure if I'm doing this right or not. It's of one of my cats :).

From Rally NY last weekend, Nikon 12-24. It was my first real attempt at panning and I was having an issue at this location. Cars were in their top gear on the rev limiter. Passing at probably 120+ MPH.

I have some a lot more better pictures from the shoot but I was proud of how the panning came out. However I dont like how the front of the car is almost sharp while the back is blurred. Guess thats what happens when you are not exactly parallel with the subject.

The san fran shot is totally amazing.

Here is a shot of the wick. It's a 153 year old building being demolished today. It was up for debate as a heritage building, yet it wasn't going well and the owner set it on fire. Heritage status totally dismissed. It's probably going to be a parking lot. =/

We're on the same boat! I've just started taking portraits, after years of taking macros. You're doing a much better job than I am, though. ;)

Thanks , This looks fantastic, have you tried taking any portraits with your macro lens, I'm using my 90mm macro for my portrait shots .

Really like this one as well, looks very creepy with the post processing in this.

Thanks to all the folk who took time to comment on my recent shots.. Cheers ! :D
