The Buzzard Orchestral - "In The Hospital" Music Video [Family Livingroom Scene]

Canon EOS 6D

I spent bonfire night in Lewes and watched the truly remarkable celebrations there. Back in the 17th century the Catholic church condemned some protestants for some crime against god, and in protest the Lewes march started with burning crosses and an effigy of the pope. Surprisingly, political correctness hasn't crushed this tradition and they still do it every year :) I was standing by the war memorial at the time the burning crosses passed by in front and whipped out the 6+ for this shot.

Not sure this warrants sharing, but I keep coming back to it when reviewing pics I took that day. Can't decide if it has universal appeal or if I only like it because it's family.

Unreal!! You now have one more instagram follower too :)

+1. Stunning images...

Another shot from the same spot as yesterday but taken in black and white instead. Not sure which one I prefer.

Thank you! It was taken with a Fuji X-E1 + Fuji 35mm f/1.4 @ f/7.1.

I think I like the B+W version but think that is because I know you are headed to work so the darker feel is more fitting maybe?

Keep going back to it. The blue tones, the sun peeking through from the cloud. Lovely.

Thanks. Actually my brother-in-law and niece. Was taking a series of them together and he spontaneously acted like he was strangling her. Would have been more dramatic if he didn't have a smile on his face :)

Squirrel...they drive Jake crazy.

I'm not a huge fan of squirrels, but love this shot.

The Beauchamp Chapel in St Mary's Church, Warwick: medieval craftsmanship at its best...

Nice Doylem. I've noticed that your recent photos have colors that are more saturated/vibrant, though possible my eyes are playing tricks on me. Using a different filter or changing how you process your images?

Last rose in the garden

It's starting to get colder, but there's still one rose bush in bloom

Cheers :)
