Still in "father" mode for what I am shooting currently. I fear it has seriously corrupted my ability to objectively evaluate my photos in the sense of universally interesting vs only interesting to me as a parent.

I think this is the first photo I've ever posted in the POTD thread taken with an iPhone. I convinced myself that the light was interesting along with the peripheral lines that draw the eye inward into the photo. I'm losing it clearly ;)

Hi Kallisti. Honestly, so what... He's a cute little fella. Brightens our day up and those of us who have been there get it. So I hope I speak for everyone here when I say post away sir... If it is not something that draws our eye, we can scroll on by...

This time will feel long right now but give it a month or two and you will be wondering where the time went.

Thought I'd posted this yesterday but it's still here!

Another shot from the same spot as yesterday but taken in black and white instead. Not sure which one I prefer.

I agree with Schtumple. I do like black and white but in this case I think the colour adds a lot to the photo. My eye is drawn to the warm colours which draws it along the track. Good photo!

November morning in the park

Picture of the Boathouse cafe in Rouken Glen Park, Glasgow yesterday. I was allowed out for a couple of hours on my own with my camera. That is a first!

That's exactly what Mrs MacRy said :)

St Mary's Church, Nantwich. Beneath every seat in the choir stall is a carving, dating from the late 14th century. There's a mermaid, St George killing a dragon, a 'green man'... and this one, which is baffling. An early version of Spiderman?

Was out for a walk today with the family and noticed this. There are several in our neighborhood and I always wonder if they are still functional--often find myself having this strange urge to find out....
