If you don't mind me saying Hugh, but I think you've really got to grips with the HDR processing - not overdone from my perspective. This and the boat you put into the weekly contest are two of my favourites. Again, a nice textured sky here.

Thank you very much. We're getting some impressive skies this month.

I took a spin around the local lanes and farm tracks yesterday, bearing in mind that I've lived in the area for years, and I never knew that one of the little villages had a pond...

Nice. I bought a rubber lens hood to try something similar but haven't used it as yet. That and take an old lens cloth with you.

Never!!! keep em coming...

Very nice. really like the colours and the black background. think it adds nicely to the feel.

I reckon you need to get inspired again. Get yourself to the waterfront in the mist at dawn and grab some long exposures like this guy does...

www.vulturelabs.com i think this is a lovely style of imagery and I am certainly planning to try it out...

You would be great at this...

Thanks to you both :) Great ideas.

I have a thing for abandoned houses and went out early yesterday morning to shoot one near where my wife works. Sharing this one as it's a little disorienting--there was a small little rise which I captured in the foreground which played with the perceived perspective. Wish I had a toy tractor/truck to place on the ground which would have complimented the effect.
