Had a bash at a night sky image in the US. Not great but I am chuffed it turned out semi-ok...

I really like that. It would make a great wallpaper for our desktops
What I wish I could share is the sounds that the frogs were making as I made this shot. They sounded like a chorus of random whistles all around me.
Great shot. I worked at 1265 1 WTC in the 80's until early '91 and can't bring myself to go back there. I was in Manhattan a few years ago with my wife and our younger daughter, we stopped at Carlo's Bakery in Hoboken and were heading to Brooklyn to pick up our older daughter at a friends house and I couldn't bring myself to stop. As a licenses customs broker at the time I dealt with a lot of people from Customs and steamship lines.Comments always welcomed.

Haunting atmosphere, lovely.
It really is a powerful, dignified memorial site. I was there only a couple of weeks or so before 9/11 but can't imagine the impact of that day on the lives of so many. As for the photo, 16mm on 6D with only a little retouching in post. Keeping the camera level and parallel to the ground kept building vertical convergence to a minimum.
Another NYC scene. Comments always appreciated.

We had gotten a early start driving. The fog had begun to lift, and just as the sun broke the horizon, I saw this... one of the few times when the image in my head and the one in my viewfinder matched.

This sunset photo was processed in the new ON1 Photo Raw program - pre-release version. I mention it because it wasn't a great quality photo to begin with - dark, and seemingly out of focus. It's tilted off to the left, I didn't fix that because the pre-release version of this program doesn't have an active crop/level tool.

Ice on the beach this afternoon. Taken with my iPhone 7+. I'm liking there camera on here, but I'm looking forward to getting a new SLR for Christmas.
I for one love these textured sky shots, nice captureI'm thankful for beach sunsets.
If you don't mind me saying Hugh, but I think you've really got to grips with the HDR processing - not overdone from my perspective.
