Time for coffee. Nevada 1998.
And neglected your teeth by the looks!
Lost your beard too, I see. The bald spot on top stayed.
I’ve been in this thread a few weeks now, and I’m just an amateur photographer that when I see something, I try to take advantage of the lighting, angle and uniqueness of the photo. That said, there’s a lot of talent in this thread, [far beyond my reach], but if I had to say who I think has some of the most unique photos that stand out to me personally, would be Molly and ClixPix. And then Stillcrazymans nature shots are always incredible to look at.

Good shot. Can't count the number of times I've had red wings posing perfectly only a couple of feet away, just to fly off as I bring the camera up to my eye.

Have you had the 100-400 long? I tried a used one, but the zoom ring was in rough shape so I had to send it back. It's got some nice sharpness to it, even if it's a bit heavy.
I've had it around 6-8 months , I guess . Like yours , mine was 'new to me' . I don't think I want to walk around all day with it , thought it's probably not as bad as my full frame Canon and 100-400 . My sample's zoom ring gets a bit stiff towards 300 and up , though it seems to have loosened up a bit ; or maybe I'm just getting used to it . Not gritty or anything , you just have the feel that lots of stuff is getting moved around inside the lens . It was picked up originally for a trip to Yellowstone/Grand Tetons I'd planned for the fall , but the virus had other ideas . So the trip's gotta wait , and I get time to practice with it as the lens is definitely 'specialist optics'Have you had the 100-400 long?
