Wow... the little guy knows the right way to put a battery in... Can he do simple adjustments and batch processing too? I'd give him a job today...

He could crawl inside my camera with a tiny mop... and wipe the dust spots off the sensor...

I'm working on training him to do that, have quite a bit of dust on my sensor sometimes...:p

Spent

Visited a small salmon stream between Sault Ste Marie and Sudbury, Ontario. I was surprised to see the salmon run in this small stream at Algoma Mills was still underway. This fellah though, was all spent. F4.5 iso200 @ 1/50.

PHRASIKELIA... thanks so much for your suggestion regarding my bridge shot. I've a LOT to learn about composition... rather than just hoping the capture "turns out". I was just so pleased you took the time to simply comment. After seeing your images, I was honoured.

Alive and kicking

Same stream, different Salmon. The fish were difficult to approach. Given the size of the fish and the very shallow water, it was amazing these creatures could navigate. But when they scooted forward, the water would rise and surround their bodies like a sheath. It was neat, I appreciate this is not a great shot, but I suspect some of you might want to see a Salmon live and kicking as opposed to my previous post. F5.6 @ 1/50 ISO400 fl150mm

I love it too and I don't like snakes.

Waiting

I really like this one, the lighting reminds me of an old movie I'd watch with my grandpa.

srf4real I like the other backlit shots as well. Was the one with the boat taken in the am or sundown?

dllavaneras Great shot of those snakes and should I guess there was a nice piece of glass between them and you ;)

soLoredd I like the Half Dome it draws me in just wanting to stare at it all day.

I know the end of her pony tail seems a bit "chopped off"...it must have been the way it was hanging because i went back and took a look at the RAW file to make sure i didn't go over it with the eraser tool or something:p
